Christine is co-founder of PEPNetwork and President of CABeebe, consulting. She is a national speaker and author on patient and health care provider education and decision-making. As a former executive with Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Christine directed medical education and grant programs for health professionals and patients in North America, designed a global electronic learning system, and led the company-wide decision making initiative. Previously Ms. Beebe founded and directed Diabetes and Wellness Centers nationwide and the Diabetes Foundation for St. James Hospitals and Health Centers in Chicago. While at the University of Chicago Diabetes Research and Training Center, she conducted independent research and was a leader in developing and delivering medical and patient education in diabetes and obesity. She has been an adjunct professor at Michigan State University and the University of Illinois. Christine has served in national leadership roles as National President, Healthcare and Education for the American Diabetes Association, Chair of the ADA Medicare task-force, Chair of the ADA Nutrition Council that coauthored the 1994 and 2000 national nutrition guidelines, and Chair of the Chicago ADA Leadership Board. She is currently on the editorial board of Clinical Diabetes, the ADA Research Foundation Pathway to a Cure committee, and on the BOD for Taking Care of Your Diabetes in San Diego and Slam Dunk for Diabetes in Chicago. Ms. Beebe has her Masters and Bachelors degrees from Michigan State University, and certificates in Decision Making from Stanford University and the University of Chicago.
