Losing weight and keeping it off requires more than just lifestyle changes. This is especially true if you have been overweight for quite some time. Your body "remembers" your higher weight and tries to keep it. This is called biological 'adaptation' and it remains even after losing the weight. The good news-- the longer you keep the weight off --the easier it is to overcome the 'adaptation'

These biological adaptations need to be addressed for success in any weight loss program. Currently available weight loss drugs, bariatric surgery, and/or new implantable devices, are therapies designed to correct such biological problems. However, they do not permanently correct the problems and each comes with it's own risk and benefits. Knowing the benefits and side effects of each can help you decide which is best for you.

There is good news!! Long-term weight loss is possible with a combination of diet, increased physical activity, and one of the medications or surgeries that is right for you. Finding the right therapy requires identifying the reasons why you eat, what you eat, how much activity you get, your weight and health history, your lifestyle, and things in your life that are most important to you or could interfere with losing weight.

The program is composed of three separate -but equally important- modules:
